We are all grateful to Bloom of course we are but his Invisible Man act is getting tiring now.

Whilst Dick was in charge it was Dick who had the balls to make and take the BIG decisions. Sacking Gritt, Sacking McGhee, Sacking Wilkins, Employing and Sacking Tinselhead. Ok he did not get it right all the time but made far more correct decisions than not.

More importantly though is that Dick made the decision, stuck by it and faced the music good or bad. He was always available and informative about the goings on at the club.

Bloom apparently pulled the strings a lot in the background and was instrumental in some of the decisions Knight had to make like sacking McGhee for example.

Now the spotlight is on Bloom and he can't hide behind Dick does he have the BALLS to make a big decision.

If so WHY isn't Slade in his office NOW ?.

Discuss.

Sacking McGhee wasn't that big a decision for Knight, at least not after the fans turned on Knight for sticking by McGhee. Then it became an easy one.

I think he has a more hands off style, which doesn't make him a bad chairman.

This is the first testing period of his era so I guess we'll have to wait and see if he has the balls as you put it.

Remember deciding to keep Slade is as big a decision as deciding to sack him.

How do you know the big decision this time isn't "stand by Slade through a tough patch, and reap the rewards by the end of the season, ignoring the pressure from the fans who are caught up in the emotional reaction to a less than steller start to the season"?

Surely it is time for the chairman to come out with some sort of statement of intent or plan or explanation 1/3 of the way through the season. Has he said ANYTHING about the club since July ?.

Perhaps he wants to give Slade more time? If he does want to sack Slade perhaps he is working on a guaranteed successor?

Who knows? But one thing is for sure, people who do well in business generally have balls and do make decisions.

The problem is it looks like a lack of interest on Bloom's part at the moment. Just letting things amble on and get worse and worse.

Or maybe he still believes that Slade is the right man for the job and is not going to be swayed by a few irrelevant polls and moaners on a fan's website. I know it sounds ridiculous but just a thought. I would say at the moment that sticking by Slade is the big decision as the louder people (and a growing number) are calling for Slade's dismissal. It would be far easier for him to sack than keep Russell Slade.

Because I'm sure he cares about what you know or think

Being a professional poker player the guy clearly lacks balls. Good spot. And obviously investing £90m in a third division football club was a decision that any fool would have made without a second thought. Obviously.

You still hold a grudge against the man because you believe he was the one that pulled the trigger on McGhee. Get over it. Jeez.

I'll bite Uncle.
So is this the beginning of your next negative campaign? Slade out then mix it up with Bloom? Really unhelpful.
Do you honestly think that Bloom invests £90m and then loses interest?
Does it not take balls to invest in our club what he has?
Sorry, but what a shite thread.

I know Bloom likes a gamble, but surely he should twist rather than stick with this JOKER

This sort of post is quite frankly ridiculous. Talk about a short memory! Slade did a fantastic job last season and, although it is not quite working this year, calling him a "JOKER" is completely out of order in my view.

I think Bloom has put his money where his mouth is so we have to trust his decision. I could understand him sacking Slade but would also say that I really want Slade to do well so will be supporting him and the team on Saturday if he is still in charge.

Are we talking about the same Tony Bloom who cancelled flights to Australia to stay in the country and make sure Knight sacked Adams?

Probably takes bigger balls to do nothing. I don't doubt that TB has them - you don't win big poker games without them.

Maybe he has decided to stick with Slade regardless.

And anyway fantastic job bollox, lets be honest we scrapped through....I recall several other results going our way in the run in, he hardly took over and won every bloody game. Anyway just because he saved us does NOT GIVE HIM THE RIGHT TO STAY NO MATTER WHAT !!

There is no sign of improvement as regards the RESULTS which is where it counts :US:

Or maybe you are happy for us to go into next months tuff fixtures and then we all wake up in mid december rooted in the relegation dogfight.......

IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT CAUSE THAT'S WHAT E'LL APPEN
