Im sure Dave went to Varndean, but not positive, no i havnt put an ad in the argus, i have great faith in NSC

im really racking my grey matter to think of more things about him, but it was around 30 years ago we hung around together and the harder i think the more blank my dull head goes

I am only trying to locate dave as we were such good mates back in the 70s and then we went our own ways for differant reasons, mainly cos i got married i suppose, there really is no other reason, and i started the thread off in the hope that someone might know him, which it seems that might be the case, and i have had some encoraging PMs and hopefully something will come from those.

There was a Dave Woolgar who played football for Whitehawk on a Saturday and Melford (who also played at Whithawk's ground) on a Sunday morning.

I would say he would have been 25ish in the early 80s so he'd be about 48-50 now.

Bloody good centre forward he was too.

Me and dave hung about together in our late teens early 20s, he was quite good at footy, but i dont ever remember him actually playing for a team (like whitehawk)
