If you're talking about Beamish Red then I too miss it badly.
I used to drink it in what was called the Finnegan's wake outside Brighton station .

The last time I saw it was about 6 or 7 years ago in the social club attached to Peterborough's ground.

Yes. An early alchopop type. I believe it was on trial in Leeds (or another city) and Brighton, but you couldn't get it anywhere else. I'm surprised it never went national. It must have flopped in Leeds because it was huge at the time in Brighton.

Yes vodka red had guarana caffeine and something else in it. The bottle had a black label with the word ''red'' written horizontally. It just vanished!

I remember that stuff. Didn't they do a Blue version too? Mixing the two together was a potent but effing vile combination.

Yep it was red and blue it was made by FCUK as well, it didn't taste too bad and it made pleasant pavement pizza due to the deep red effect!

You could definetly get it in Bradford when I was at uni there in 98-99. Remember strawpedoing the vile stuff and spilling half of it down my white t-shirt. Then i went out. Horrible stuff.

i thought it was around in London, but may be mistaken. Its was lovely drink... for one bottle. it was insanely dry and needed a water chaser.
