Does anyone else realise how crucial are next two games are??

Millwall at home is then followed by Leyton Orient away...

I'd say we require a minimum of 4 points from these two because after our trip to Orient we face:

Huddersfield (h)
Norwich (h)
Leeds (a)
Charlton (a)

Realistically we will be extremely hard pushed to get anything from these four fixtures and could be in big trouble by the end of Feb.

3 points last night would have been double handy , if we are going to start moving up the table every game is important.

1 point from 6 against Stockport borders on negligence. It puts pressure on the next few games that we could have done without. Games in hand against most of those around us are only of value if we can pick up points. But our schitzo strike force could maul any team in that list...so best to turn up and support and see what happens!

These are desperate times for us, just got to be positive and keep the faith. Hopefully we will all be surprised. A nice couple of cheeky wins will do us the power of good.:yahoo::mexican:

WE have to beat Millwall and Orient, then pick up what ever is possible in the others - not going to be easy and a few new faces before 5pm Monday would be welcome!

Well, Leeds certainly seem distracted by the FA Cup - no win in 4 now isn't it in the league. And Charlton lost at home to Leyton Orient so they are hardly unbeatable.

The key is Gus getting consistent performances out of our best players - Murray, Forster upfront; Crofts and Dicker in the midfield. With that, I don't see why we shouldn't get a return of something like nine or ten points from the next six games, which would be acceptable.

tricky...we sounded a bit tired and out of ideas last night, which is not like us away from home. Massive games next 2 inconsistent sides, need a couple more players to come in and Poyet knows that. Villa took alot out of the boys i sense !

Huddersfield if we can keep them from scoring the whole game then theres a possibility Crofts can come up and nick it ;) .

Charlton have hardly proved that they're good enough to go up and they only just scraped a win from us .

Leeds are on a bad run of form at the moment hopefully we can catch them on it maybe get a draw .

Norwich is going to be hard either way and i think personally they're going to win the league.
