Does anybody worry about squad disruption?

I was just thinking about the squad spirit this season.

We have two people (Lynch & Murray) in the squad who have actively come out in the media and made it quite clear they dont want to be at the football club.

They could go before the season starts, so this thread will not mean much.

Now I know the clubs stance and I fully agree with it, The players for whatever reason cannot stamp their feet and get what they want, but it could go one or two ways. Im hoping they both get their heads down, work really hard and either they end up staying and contributing to our success next season and beyond and we all forget about the past and if not that then they get their move now or in jan and we get financially rewarded at their true value ie at least 800k+ combined.

The other way it could go is, like modern day footballers they rock the boat bigtime, stamp and scream louder like spoilt overpaid brats, dont try and cause disruptions in the camp and dislodge others around them and the spirit is potentially down the pan = season down the pan.

Just something I thought of.

Thoughts?

Brighton factually.....
Seeing as we have more or less had a clean sweep from russ. I think most of the new boys are well aware that lynch and murray want away and it should not affect them as russ seems to talk straight and wont stand for any shenanigans from anyone. We will be fine, dont worry flakey micky aint in charge anymore

I think it is down to the management of these players. Espesially with Lynch there had been no problems (that we know of) before the arrival of Adams. Lynch may well enjoy working with Slade - Slade has made clear that he thinks Lynch is a good asset to the club.

As with Murray, I don't know. It seems that nobody has matched the clubs valuation of him and therefore his best hope of getting a move may well be to put in some decent performances and hope that another club notices him. Again, Slade has said that Murray is a part of his masterplan.

I guess time will tell, but I have faith in Slade to manage these players effectively.

Players have agents and if they want a move it's the agents' job to sort it. Lynch and Murray have had over 2 months since the season ended to engineer something, but you'd hope the manager will persuade them both to stay.

In the Premiership one player like a Ronaldo, Zola, Bergkamp, Torres can win a match for you, but down in League 1 success is achieved by the whole team pulling together - just look how often a team promoted from League 2 breezes through League 1 - therefore dissent in the ranks is a killer and Slade has to manage this situation.
