Does anybody remember Jossy's Giants?

Something about a football team comprised of a bunch of Geordie kids.

Usually involving them being down 10-0 at half time and miraculously coming back to win 11-10 in injury time I think.

It's a distant and foggy memory, someone else must recall this on TV?

Yup, I remember that. Didn't it have to blokes with haircuts like skunks or something (died black and white)

Although I was (supposedly) too old for it I used to video it! I thought it was great, far better than the Renford Rejects whichs keeps on being shown on Nick.

Didn't Bryan Robson make a guest appearance in one episode? A seriously crap actor, I seem to remember...

Indeed he did. As I recall he was in a Sports Shop when old mate Jossy just happened to turn up like the canny lad he was whey ay man.

We're   Jossy's Giants.

Murphy's Mob, now there was a program. Have Watford ever recovered from the revenue loss once that was rightfully canned?

Murphys Mob was much better than Jossy's Giants. If memory serves me right, the chairman was the weasly bloke (Milton Something) who went on to run the corner shop in Corrie and now does racecourse announcements and presentations at Fontwell!

didnt they go to watch 'a question of sport' and bryan robson was a team captain. Who remebers the 'classic' where the girls put their red kit in with the boys' white one, thus making the giants play in a pink kit. God, those were the days. Josse's midweek, followed by Knight rider/the A-Team on the weekend.
