Me and Gritt23 run a 'Seagulls Predictions League' (or "SPL"). We have 33 players, all of whom have paid a tenner each, purely predicting the Albions scores, so there's £330 prizemoney. I'm currently sitting 3rd.
5 points for a spot-on scoreline
3 points for a correct result
2 points for guessing the Last Goalscorer (Albion player of course).
Runs for the whole season, with £10 per month up for grabs every month for whoever gets the most points during each calender month. Then at the end of the season, the top 3 get a cash prize, and the players finishing 4th to 7th compete in the "Playoffs", using the same format to predict the scores from all of the divisional Playoff matches, on a head-to-head knockout.
All good fun. I've even got it SPONSORED now, by the Kings Head. So from Jan 1st it will be known as "The SPL - Sponsored by The Kings Head". The landlord is giving as prize of a free Sunday lunch for 2 with a bottle of house wine to one of the winners.
