Scotland legend Weir dies after six years with MND

Former Scotland international Doddie Weir dies at the age of 52 after suffering with motor neurone disease.

Shit disease, it does seem to take a lot of sportspeople who have been injured in their playing years?

Mrs Jakarta's Uncle was a successful Jockey down in RSA but had some bad falls and broke a load of bones over the years.

He got MND in his late 50's. We still donate to a MND charity in his memory.
