The board made the decision at the end of last season to sack the manager who gave us a 7th place finish and while still learning his craft seemed to be taking the team in the right direction.

They replaced him with a "name" manager who, despite misgivings over the treatment of Wilkins, most of us revered for his former achievements with us.

We have now gone out of our last cup competition, face a major fight to avoid relegation and will probably see low attendances at Withdean for the rest of the season.

In these circumstances, do we still have faith in the board or do they need to do something urgently to restore their credibility in our eyes?

Yes i do 100%.Falmer is being built and we spent good money in the transfer window.I firmly believe we have a better board then most clubs.
Knight has made a mistake end of.
My trust in the board hasn't changed from day one.

If they sack Adams then yes.

If they don't admit the major, major cock-up that was last summer, then no.

A proper explanation for Wilkins sacking would,at least, be a gesture of respect toward fans rather than the "we know best" attitude than seems to exist now.

For far too long, we have had a Chairman, who is doing two quite different jobs;.......

1) Chairman of BHA.....and all that that entails.

2) Chasing the dream of a new stadium.

For a man of his age, it is clearly too much. In the end, he may well fail at both jobs.

He needs to move aside and concentrate on the stadium.

You forget that people like Morris never make mistakes.

There's very little left, I don't mind admitting it, they've royally f***ed up, and this isn't the first time, now they must deal with it (and fast) to restore some faith.

Totaly agree.

Nothing personal against Dick but he is to old, life time president for Mr Knight and all the plaudits when we move into Falmer. He needs to take a back seat now and let either someone else on the board step forward or solicit somebody new to take the reigns.

If this gets sorted out properly then yes of course I back the board.

Might not always get things right but seriously who could have imagined we could possibly become so bad so quickly?

If the right manager and backroom team come in then yes we have a chance and people like myself will regain faith that at the moment is really being tested.

Easy mistake to make.

My challenge to a duel is in the post. Wet fish or rotten fruit, the choice is yours.

(No offence, Richie).

Crayons for me. They've screwed up rather on the playing side, but away from that Falmer is finally being built.

On the whole I like our board. They manage the club in much the same way that I think I would if I were in their shoes. In other words they are amateurish, disorganised, arrogant and prone to regular cock ups. But their hearts are in the right place. I do get the impression that they all feel a bit too comfortable in their seats though, as I would also if I had ploughed my cash and 10 years of my life into the Albion so I can’t really blame them. I don’t like a lot of what they do, and I fell out of love with them over their treatment of Dean Wilkins, but I’m not yet close to wanting them out so I guess that means I still have some faith in them. But can they please sack Ken Brown along with Adams, White and Booker (again) please.

What he said, except it was a board decision to sack Wilkins and re-instate Adams, not just Knight.

Sorry Clipped but Knight was the major player behind Wilkins getting the chop.He put it to the board and they backed him.

Not unfair and I feel more sadness than anger over the restoration of Adams and the way the season has gone but something either in the shape of Micky sorting things out (what happened to the sheer desire and passion he once had?) or the board admitting their failure and putting it right needs to happen IMO.

It's not yet a major fight, still lots of points to play for and we are hardly mired in the bottom 4. If we are 3 points down at the bottom, then it is a major fight. Sorry, just don't like all this over hyping...
