I'm interested in the spread of song-starters around the Amex.

Are you a song-starter or, like most, a joiner-in-er?

And where are you in the Amex?

In the norf and i expect myself to join in throughout a match. To start any sort of chant i think i'd need 5 pints of Staropramen and half a gramme of coke. That's not usually what i have whilst sitting through Football Focus though.

My 9 year old son and his mates usually get going with a 'Give us a 'B'' and the chap a couple of rows behind us is kind enough to make sure it doesn't go to waste; always appreciated him for that

It's funny, I feel I should be writing this in the past tense; the match day dynamic'll certainly be different from now . . .

At away games, yes, home games, don't think I ever have (bearing in mind I was 12 when we left the Goldstone). Might change though if the atmosphere gets going, there's beer available at half time etc...

Yes but not at Albion. I started a chant against the Solent Sh*te when they played at Brentford in the Cup in 2005, "Premiership, you're havin a laff" when we were 1-0 up. Then Crouchy came on song and they stuffed us.

I enjoyed it when they went down at the end of that season though.

As far as a song for Falmer goes, how about "AMEX-ing Grace"?

I started a Dougy Loft chant at Bristol Rovers a couple of years ago and got a slating...since then i've left the responsability to others!

All over the place
Once at Withdean I stood up when all was quiet and called Paul Brooker a "f***ing god". Then some dick 3 rows back stood up and started slating me, (I think he thought I said "f***ing knob")!

I hope Krispies has sorted himself a season ticket for the North stand. It'll be just like the 'good old days' (sort of).

I like the sound of that, so here we go;

AMEX-ing grace
how sweet our ground
that nestles by the sea
we once were lost
but now have found
a perfect place to be!

How about that for starters?

That is Lee (ponce Mohammed buzzer). He's not next to us next year, as he's going WSU, but I promis we will still pick up your lads chants
