I have a few Apple shares that have done very well but have dropped back.
Also in companies called Matra (losing) , Bahamas Petrol Company (losing) and the most exciting one is AFC energy which is shooting up on a daily basis since Roman Abramovich put some money into it last week. Keep an eye on this one.This company will be huge one day.It has fantastic technology and a great future.

Randomly ramping shares - this is a football message board - can often have a negative effect. So please don't overdo it; I also hold a signifcant number of AFC shares, and Abramovich's investment should speak for itself anyway.

Got on AFC too, a bit late I think (40ish) but confident it will go up anyway. Got a few others, Aviva, Barclays all doing ok since I got them. Booker Group not bad, and a couple of others. No real 'serious' investment, just put a bit of loose cash in it and planning to leave it for a few years.

I have already withdrawn my initial stake back for Barratt and Real Good Food, and my Lloyds shares are about 75% up. My only loss is with Aviva, but am getting a dividend so not too bothered about that at the moment.

Have some in Irish Continental Group (Irish Ferries) solely to get the shareholder discounts. They crashed in value about two years ago and are slowly creeping back up, they're a little above what I paid for them.

Not directly these days - obviously some indirectly through pensions etc. I do spread betting on the FTSE every day though - I have increased my fund by 79% over the last 8 days, 32 winning bets out of 34 (I would have won one of the two losers if I hadn't had to go to a meeting)

Gor some Bradford and Bingley shares... They're worth absolutely nothing!!

I got some Halifax shares when they turned into a bank and their value went up to over £12 each, they are now Lloyds shares and worth about 38p each. No point in selling them now, I'll wait and see what happens next!

Was given some Barclays shares when they took over Woolwich. At the time they were worth over £6 each. Not sure their value now but earn £2.08 per half year divi..

Get so excited when cheque arrives wondering what to spend it on.

Got rid of all other shares I had as they also plummeted instead of rising. Obviously gambling on shares is not for me.!!!
