My boss is a total c**t and I hate working for him, he mutters snide comments all the time and doesnt do anything he says he will, he's supposed to be getting the team working to gether despite the pressuures and all he manages to do is split it up . . . .If I didnt have amortgage to pay and expensive habits I'd walk out now !

I'm doing alright at the mo... after a bit of post-uni job hopping (and getting stitched up) I reckon I could settle at this one... for a while at least.

:tosser: my boss tries to play us peasant workers off against each other. he's a bulls****er beyond belief!!! he's a backstabbing, lying, sneaky git and he's got a bearded sycophantic, snivelling, odious little gnome as a sidekick...
apart from that....everything's fine! :lolol:

my boss was a snivelling pompous anal cow - good riddance to her and she is now being made to pay for the way in which she made me redundant....

don't like being made redundant - but its been a blessing in disguise - although a somewhat tough one to deal with....

when we had a meeting regarding team changes, and one of the words on the board was 'headcount', I think i left scorchmarks on the carpet between the meeting room and the HR office.

I get my voluntary redundancy payoff in two weeks time:wave:

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I'm in that wonderful spell of unemployment at the moment. I wake full of verve and determination. My head is bathed in boundless opportunity and i march downstairs with an unheralded purpose. Cornflakes scatter themselves in the bowl, i overdo te milk and sit down to eat whilst watching Cheers. 9am is here. I can make my move into the world of work. I make a phonecall or two, send an email, check NSC, eat a massive lunch, take a 2 hour nap and then realise i've done nothing and my spirits are crushed. The lives of East End folk make me feel better for a while, i drink a beer and watch a film i swore i'd never sit through (eg Jason X).
And repeat.

Secretly (whatever you do don't let me know), i'm enjoying it.

On NSC for over two decades...
Yesterday I was in a right grumpy mood about my job, thinking about how boring it can be, wondering whether it is what I really want to do, and buying a lottery ticket on the way home.

I guess it was just first-day-back-after-a-two-week-holiday syndrome, as I'm totally ambivalent about work today!!

???

I gert a bit like that . . . . .this afternoon is better than this morning, but only because its only 2 hours to go, trouble is the frequency with which bad days occur is getting higher and higher and its depressing !
