Too bloody right, this might be the only glimmer of light in an already depressing season. You never know it might spur us on to at least win another league game at Withdean

Yes, because if we win it, it will deflect away the shit we are in in the league.

Win the JPT and avoid relegation will be a SUCCESS in a lot of fans eyes, and the trophy will mean a shit league season will be forgiven. Just look at the crowds going up from round 1 at Northampton, to Shrewsbury away. They see GLORY

If we get to Wembley (we aren't there yet folks!), we will get a nice little pay packet. This money could be used to extend Doug Loft's contract.

Therefore, I conclude that success in the JPT is of the highest importance.

The implication here is that success in a cup competition leads to a worsening of league results. It's something I've heard many times before, but is it true? I doubt there is any statistical evidence to support this, so IMO the JPT is a welcome distraction in an otherwise dismal season and has made relegation no more or less likely.

There is a potential for Brighton to play at the new Wembley for the first ever time,

What more incentive do you need ?
I'm BHA through & through, and lets be honest, over the next five years what realistic chance will we have of playing at the new home of football ?, Possible play off perhaps,

I would love to see a game of football at the new Wembley, but it would be meaning less unless Brighton were playing, so never mind it being a distraction, its a great chance to have a fantastic day out, i hear all the moaning & groaning "its only the Piss pot trophy"
i don't f***ing care, "Brighton could be play at Wembley",

We have enough bad times as Brighton supporters and as soon as we have a chance to to have some success, albeit limited, we should embrace it rather than whinge with the but..................

Live for today, you don't know whats going to happen tomorrow, Come on enjoy the ride to Wembley.

Not too fussed, not sure it is impacting our league form particularly so don't think it matters.

Be good to go to wembley even if it is half empty and souless.

Out of interest and without googling the JPT, Who won the last 3 JPT trophys ?

Theres still 66 points left available folks so yes, bit of glamour in an otherwise woeful season.

100% yes. It's the only thing keeping me going at the moment, the propsect of Wembley.

No idea , the fact I googled JPT winners and nothing was returned says a lot.

If it was those teams , for 5 points who did they play ?

Pretty sure it was MK Dons v Grimsby last year as I watched some of it.

Bristol Rovers were in the final the year before but I didn't think they won it in the end, christ knows who they played.

Who cares, this time it could be us!

Who won the last 3 fa cups and carling cups? No one cares because it's not us.
