I guess a lot of them do or know someone who does and relays the juicy bits too them.
Much like actors reading their theatre reviews in newspapers, you can see why they want to peek even though it's usually better if they didn't.
Obviously it wouldn't influence them over their decisions regarding financial situation, family and teammates loyalties.
