My goldfish's little fishy friend has just died. They'd been together for 3 years. He is looking very sad, and seems to be searching for his friend. Do goldfish experience grief, or am I just being silly and soppy?

PS - I'm going to the fish shop tomorrow to buy him a new fishy friend.

I liked that. I buy wet fish in a fish shop. They're normally dead.

I can't believe that I lost my (our) Queen three days ago, our manager at the same time and my Dad a few weeks ago and I'm discussing
the question of whether a Fish Shop sells live or dead fish. That's probably why I love NSC so much!!!
