JONNY Dixon, Albion's new £55,000 striker from Aldershot, has been ruled out for four to six weeks by physio Malcolm Stuart after turning his ankle in his second training session with the club on Friday.

Could this mean Gattings chance or Chamberlains beginning?

It will mean that as one of only 3 strikers left, that Gatting will retain his place on the bench, yes. If Murray or Forster get injured / suspended then we'll have Gatting or Robinson up front.

surely be sensible to invest some money in the training pitches seeing as we're there for at least 2 more years

not the first time that the training pitches have cost us injuries. Do the ground staff maintain them well enough?

In effect we may actually not see him play this season.

Let's hope the current two remain fully fit.

Hindsight is great but wouldn't we have been better off relaying the pitch that the first team train on or could they not train at Burgess Hill or Whitehawk especially as we have a non league coach and assistant manager.

do we still train at sussex uni, or did they move down to waterhall? If still at sussex don't think we are responsible for the up keep of the pitches and when i was there they were not in very good nick + you had uni football on there every wednesday.
