We're no more fooked than we were BEFORE Dixon went out on loan. Cos the bloke just ran around a bit contributing absolutely f*** all. Even in the pre-season matches it was patently obvious he was a dud.

Agreed..and how many times this year have we actually managed to pass the ball to Murray's feet. Such occurrences are as rare as hens' teeth much as it pains me to say so.

Anyone have an inside knowledge about this Dixon transfer. I've heard it implied that Murray's signing was all about Lloyd and had very little to do with Wilkins. Was Dixon's signing a similar story? It seems a ridiculous waste of money.

£55k gets you nothing though in today's market. DK made a rod for his own back in January saying we would sign 5 players in the transfer window and so selling clubs exploited this by jacking up the price. The original bid for Murray was £150k, but Dale waited for us to get desperate and eventually double the offer.
