So we've lost our No. 3 striker (judging that Robinson and Virgo are now midfielders) and our, in my opinion, 2nd best defender AFTER two awful performances...

If we don't get someone in we're fooked.

If we don't beef up our squad I am seriously worried.

Dixon needs replacing definitly, I really hope Lynch hates Forest and has time to think and comes back and evyerthing is sorted because he is simply class in my opinion.

On top of that we have always needed better midfielders.

A lot fo work to do...how many will we actually get in?

1 I would expect, someone we've never heard of who is fairly young and has been in championship reserves for a month.

.

No chance mate.

Withdean and its Portakabins or the City Ground with premiership facilities.

He's of no use to us. Having him as our striker is not having a 'no.3 striker' so we're really not missing anything.

Remember that McLeod can also play up front, if Forster is injured.

We then have Cox and the Anyinsah on the wings!

I always thought the job was to build a squad for the season,so why do we get rid of 3?nowv in my book i make that about 6 players we require to have a good campaign.

We're no more fooked than we were BEFORE Dixon went out on loan. Cos the bloke just ran around a bit contributing absolutely f*** all. Even in the pre-season matches it was patently obvious he was a dud.

Exactly, he contributed nothing. Hopefully we can sign a proper striker who isn't third choice at a Conference club to give us some real competition up front.

What makes me angry is that it is a 50k dud.
Money possibly better used on wages for a couple of old experienced free transfers at the time.

I think it is fair to speculate that Adams has a player lined up and will bring him in by Saturday.

And Adams of course always has his finger on the pulse.
