Ditchling Road Update?

Hello Readers,
Can anyone give me an update on how smoothly Ditchling Road may or may be not running. Abandoned my car near the bottom on Tuesday evening and don't want to walk all the way back if I still can't move it any nearer as I still wouldn't get it all the way back here. Ta
