Durlston
"You plonker, Rodney!"
I found a brand new copy of Mayfair on my paperound when I was 16 in an overgrown area with the glamourous cover sticking out from the greenery. It was brand new - no one had 'glued' the pages together and I have given it a good home with Claire from Yeovil making my sack work overtime when I was younger. Beauty never fades and I occasionally knock one out over her if my partner isn't around. If I went to Yeovil for football I would dream of meeting her so always used my best aftershave! Anyway, I thought it was Christmas the days after I found it and I started to get addicted to buying bongo mags. Even now my cupboard is groaning under the weight of girls naughty parts. Rows started with a couple of girlfriend's about why I had to still have them when I could have the real thing. Truth is it's like saying goodbye to old friends who have given so much pleasure.
I feel lucky enough that I was part of the last generation before the internet - and tattoos - spoilt the experience of having an early night of a hot bath and a relaxing wànk before bedtime. Long live Razzle, Mayfair, Escort, Men Only and Fiesta.
There needs to be a poll on which was the best girlie mag. Mayfair definitely the best with the close-ups and stories.
