What a bunch of mindless thugs they are - no skill just kicking lumps all night.

Shame their captain did not cop a 2nd yellow for sarcastically clapping the referee.

Very strange comment, no worse than any other team we've played.

They couldn't handle Lua Lua so kicked him repeatedly. They couldn't handle Vicente, but couldn't get close enough to kick him. Basically, they were outclassed, and when outclassed you tend to commit a lot of fouls. They did.

Really why is it a strange comment, enlighten me

I think I did directly after 'very strange comment', no need to repeat myself. Sorry can't carry on this, battery about to die on my way back to London. Toodles.

Agreed. Thought the ref tried to give them the benefit of the doubt at the start, but was really disappointed with their attitude. Has to be said we were class tonight....that is the standard we need to maintain now please.

Ps is it wrong to admit I have a bit of a man crush on Vicente?

Yep, they just couldn't handle us. Lucky to get away with so few bookings though.

Have to agree with you they were filthy , how they never got a red is beyond belief .lack of control of the game like that by the ref is what leads to players sustaining serious injuries

I lost count of the number of fouls they made in the first 15 minutes alone. Thought Sheldrake (he of Bournemouth fame) could have got his card out sooner.

32 and 31 in particular seemed to be prone to giving away numerous fouls. That said, I thought Mattock was going to get booked for his challenge late on.

I thought they were filthy. Genuinely stunned that people are disagreeing with this. They kicked anything that moved.

Brian Clough would turn in his grave if he witnessed the brand of "football" his son encourages Derby to play.

Funnily enough I did find myself saying "dirty bastard" when Barnes was hacked down from behind at one point. They certainly picked up at least 3 bookings, it may well have been 4 ? I agree with what others have said about us outclassing them and that caused them to resort to fouling.

Diritest team I've seen us play this season so far was Portsmouth down at their place.

I thought it was a sincere applause. CMS had arms round his neck while he was holding cms off and the fans were calling for a foul on cms and the ref spotted the arms round his neck, and it seemed like a 'well done for not giving in to the crowd' kind of applause. Unnecessarily prolonged, but sincere, I thought.
