[Sussex] Did you know you have your own damselfly?

I'm not talking about the Sussex music artist of the same name, only discovered by a thread title check 😁. Some years ago I remember a thread about a rare butterfly only found in Sussex, but there's a damselfly also only found there (until recently). It's the Willow Emerald, whose eggs have the bizarre capability of hopping towards water if they are dropped onto a dry patch from the vegetation on which they are laid! It's featured on the 14 July edition of Countryfile, 34 minutes in. Just go to any BBC1 Sunday afternoon Countryfile on the BBC iPlayer app and scroll through previous programmes to Hengitsbury Head. Maybe somebody will be good enough to post the URL from the browser version.
