I thought the people who booed him were unfair. I did not think he was that good when he played for us but he always tried his best and its not like he ditched us is it?

I didn't, he was hardly a "Judas" was he? I thought that was just ridiculous - he was brought in on loan, he did a good job and worked hard, then went back to Reading. What about that means he deserves to be booed? I hope he realises it was a minority - utter nonsense:angry:

wherever the money is
He is a money grabber which is why he went to brentford instead of signing for us. I don't rate him either so I am glad we did not get him

Annoyed me almost as much as people cheering the twat who ran on the pitch. Hardly the most sensible thing to do when the fans are in the spotlight...or when there are only 8 minutes gone and you then miss the whole game.

i didn't

he gave 100% for us. you can't ask for anything more. except for maybe 110%

Oh for f***'s sake, it's not like it was Bobby Zamora, Micky Adams or anyone else that really stamped their name on Albion history. He came in, scored a few goals but ultimately didn't help keep us up and made it clear he didn't want to play in Division 2 (before heading to, err, Brentford).

I'm sure he didn't give a shit about being booed yesterday and took it in the manner in which it was intended (BANTER).

Sometimes Brighton fans are just too f***ing NICE.

He is certainly no legend (e.g. Stoke away) but he was a wholehearted player who wanted to stay with us and seemed to have a real affection for the club. Shame he was booed.

Do you think Rouge would have given a f*** about us? He would have loved to have scored against us and sent us crashing back to Earth and Div 2 next season.

If booing him made him play as crap as he did then well done everyone i say

He only wanted to stay if we were in Division 1! He made it quite clear he didn't want to play in the second division (before heading to, errr, Brentford).

I'm not saying he's scum or anything, just that my boos personally were not malicious but part of the banter.

Part of the role of supporters is to wind up the opposition and give them a bit of grief. That's all I was doing, which was a damn site more than most of the people around us, who struggled with the words to 'Seagulls'.

I didn't boo him, in fact I gave him a big cheer when his name was announced, sadly drowned out by all the boos

If I recall correctly he wanted to stay with us but said he couldn't afford to support his family on what we offered - just £400 a week according to rumours. ???
