I am sure that I heard on the radio that the premiership want to stop teams entering their league via play offs and only the top 2 would be admitted and the bottom 2 relegated.

Would this affect the other divisions. I can see the logic that if a team is only good enough to finish 6th and then win a couple of games they are hardly good enough to go up , as we proved and Wtford and Southend are this year.

I didn't hear it but i wouldn't be surprised. The play-offs, exciting as they may be are a joke. It is silly finishing 6th in the league and still going up. On the other hand there is alot of money to be made from play-offs.

I think that this has a lot to do with the payments that relegated teams will get. When they are relegated they should, with that money be able to come straight back up but a team finishing 6th could get lucky for an extra couple of games and ruin everything for them.

The revenue for the play offs is good for the clubc concerned but we are talking the premiership who are only interested in protecting their own interests.

The premier ship have also said they will not allow teams up if the league adopt this silly idea of penalty shoot outs. That idea must have come from America most shit ideas do. They wanted to double the size of the goals to get more scored.

True, but if the 3rd bottom premiership team is that much better, they would come straight back up, wouldn't they? Greed, sheer greed.

I'd like to see the third bottom team in a division take part in the play-offs with the teams trying to get promotion from the division below. IE as it stands now, Charlton to be in the play-offs from the Championshp. I'm sure this happened in the first year of play-offs?

I said that before as well but it was just before we won the playoffs in 2004 and i got slated for it (probably rightly so at the time) but i still think its wrong
