I watched Albion on saturday and noticed time and time again, a split second before Dickinson attempts to head the ball, he has a very quick look to see if there is a player close to him, I'm not going to be over critical of him here but I wonder what the coaching staff think of this. Maybe I'm in the wrong but in my eyes he should be totally focused on just winning the header and not worrying who is close, I thought it was a flaw in his game which in my opinion needs to be eradicated.

From what I've seen of his "attempt" at headers, he ducks whenever the ball comes near him. Exactly like Stuart Fleetwood.

Although his skill and pace make up for it.

It cant really be called heading ability when he has no ability what so ever

ability

Listen please, he has got ability, the two goals he has scored so far have been very good, difficult goals to score, he needs to get in the danger zone a lot more instead of looking for thunderbolt shots all the time. Colleagues will not be able to help him with headers, in my opinin, he needs to be braver and go through the ball wholeheartedly.

I am staggered he has made it to centre forward at almost top level, he has no vertical lift or hang time whatsoever, he is clealrly frightened of getting nutted on the temple or something, and if he hasn't developed goalscoring ability with his head by now, he never will. Get rid. Glenda has far more talent in every aspect of what a CF needs.

The first, Tommy Fraser scored an equally spectacular goal last season, the second took a huge deflection. Your damn right he needs to be braver but has shown zero improvement over the space of 10 games

Perhaps he is looking for a team-mate to head the ball to? Then again passing isn't exactly something our team do a whole lot of....

Spot on - well the first bit anyway (still to be convinced on overall ability). He jumps and then seems to duck out of it.
