Please do NOT give the job to failed managers like Stuart Gray or Graham Rix, they are shit, we dont want them...

Please show how much of a fan u are by not appointing these numptys or others like them...

Please do NOT appoint from within, it doesn't work...

Please look along the lines of a Kinnear or a Dowie, someone that knows what the are doing...

I'll second that. And whatever you do, please don't let Danny, Leon and Jake go to Reading (or anywhere else).

In a pile of football shirts
If Rix gets the job, I guarantee I will not watch the Albion until he goes.

I agree, not from within, Kinear, Dowie sound fine.

Not Cotterill, I hate the long ball.

But most of all, NOT RIX.

LIVING IN SIN
no way should we give the job to a kiddie fiddler!

dont appoint from within again, we have got our fingers burnt before

cottrell ,is a contender, but i dont really want to see long ball tactics.

im warming to dowie (not his looks though)

but my fave is Kinnear, a well liked and respected man within football with connections, been in the game a good few years also an ex-brighton player.

dont matter
Someone was saying on the phone-in the other night, that they didn't want Kinnear as he was long ball. Which is not right cos he had Wimbledon playing some decent stuff when they were in Prem. For me its him or Dowie. No other decent candidates as yet.

If I remember correctly, wasn't it a 15 year old girl? How many people have been on here extolling the virtues of schoolgirls? (Hermione from Harry Potter, S Club Juniors etc.) If it had been her 16th birthday, how many people on here would be praising him for sleeping with a 16 year old?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not condoning what he did and if it's against the law, he deserved his punishment. But kiddie fiddler? I've never been able to get my head around the difference between someone who is 15 years and 364 days old and 16 years old. Sleeping with the former makes you a paedophile, the latter gets envious comments. Maybe a touch of double standards on here?

Cant's understand why so many people think Rix is in with a chance of managing anyone again. It won't happen. There's about as much chance as a Gary Glitter reunion tour happening.

I can't remember much about the Rix thing but how many of us have thought that some girl is 18/19, especially when juiced up, only to find out she is under age. If pub staff and nightclub owners can't tell the age of a girl perhaps you should ask for proof of age before accepting that shag.

No ID No shag, seems fair enough, but how many man have that kind of will power.

If you're in your early twenties then mistakes happen. Graham Rix is in his 40s, touching on 50. You make damn sure at that age you know the girl is legal if you're poking around anyone who isn't obvously over 25.
I'm 31 but would feel damn uncomfortable copping off with anyone who wasn't even born when I was supporting the Albion at the Cup Final of '83.
