Dick Knight

don't think Adams will be sacked(if he is)til after the Northampton game even if we loose
tomorrow.two working days not enough time for a new manager,if appointed from outside the club,to have a look at the players.if we win the next two games well,i'd be willing to delay Adams'execution for another match.
SING UP TOMORROW,GET BEHIND THE TEAM AND MANAGER

Errr ... no announcement so he's not leaving ( yet ) ... hardly a difficult concept to grasp !

Thankyou for your brilliant clarity.....( however, I have already grasped that "he's not leaving (yet)".

I did put in my original post that basically, some clarity is also needed from the board......one way or the other. IMHO

Micky's days are numbered. If we lose tomorrow and Tuesday and slip further down the table DK will be outvoted by the other Board members and it will be :bigwave: for Micky and the dynamic duo.

Well, it,s 5.30pm on Friday.......and no statements from the Board (dick Knight), regarding the future of Micky Adams.

I would have thought, considering our league position, and the embarrassing defeat at Luton on Tuesday, that some sort of statement to the fans would be forthcoming.

Our league position, and the obvious lack of confidence shown by the players, is not helped by Micky Adams interview on SCR onn Tuesday, when he clearly stated that he would be sitting down with the Board to discuss his future.

Mr. Knight needs to come out and inform us all whether Micky Adams is staying or going.

Dilly-dallying is becoming a trademark of Mr. Knight now.

Either publicly back Micky Adams until the end of the season or sack him.

To do neither, will just promote uncertainty, division amongst the fans and surely undermine the players confidence further.

Does your boss confirm that you still have a job, on a weekly basis?

Toilet attendant.

Watch your back for your job then, when Dick Knight is around. Did you not feel it was odd Micky Adams being taken there...?

With the way they are currently playing spotting Dick Knight will be like looking for a needle in a haystack.....once things start improving he will be here there and everywhere telling people how well he has done....just hope the latter starts straight away

....so it can be analyzed and read into, and a spin put on it that makes some kind of statement that wasn't said in the first place.

Well then you'd understand the clarity of the statement, no announcement = MA going no where,

I really struggle to understand why people think the club is going to make a statement that nothing has changed.

Yes.......I think you,ve made that quite clear.

Well aren't you clever - selective quoting !!!!

It's easy, no announcement means we keep our manager - what exactly do you want ? A statement from the board saying everything remains the same .... every day ???

We have a chairman who spending his time in Spain, and not sorting out this mess once and for all. If we lose tommorow he is a goner anyway, so I think the inevitable will happen tommorow evening.

I think you,ve missed the point.

Since Tuesday, the media (BBC Radio,BBC website (sport),the local press (Argus), national press, football forums, NSC and many supporters have been full of comments and rumours regarding the tenure of Micky Adams.

Given the amount of coverage this matter has received, I believe the club (i.e. the Board of Directors) would do better to make a statement regarding the continued employment of Micky Adams.

I,m sure the players are aware of the speculation, and I cannot see that this "speculation" can help them or the manager in their preparations or performances in the coming games.

An unequivical show of support from the Board for Micky Adams would help the players and the manager.

If they are unable to do that, then obviously they are dissatisfied with the manager and should act accordingly.

It was Micky Adams himself, who stated on BBC SCR, that he would sit down with the Board this week and discuss "where we go from here".......... IMHO, and I think many others, this was clearly referring to his future employment at the Albion.

Uncertainty helps no-one.
