This may have been posted before, but did anybody see the Legends, Barbados 6 a side thing on ESPN last night.
GP played for a Chelsea legends side, and Deon Burton was playing for the Caribbean all-stars, whilst also putting himself in the shop window for a return to English football.
It seems GP was impressed, and said that they may talk about a possible deal..
Could he do a job??

Yeah! I watched it last night and heard that Gus Poyet was having a chat with him about a possible return to football. Although he was banging them in, it was on a pitch 1/4 of the size of a regular pitch, and the goalkeepers were now OAP's.

The fact he has been playing in Azerbaijan kind of tells you something...

p.s. Poyet and Zola ripped that tournament apart.

Aaah Leon Jeanne! Wonder where he is now? Last I heard he had landed a deal at high-flying Afan Lido but not sure if he is still there.
