If Denmark score the Germans are out.

Stat just showed up
Ronaldo:
Attempts 9, Goals 2

That's one goal every 4.5 shots. And to think Ashley Barnes is criticised for needing 5 shots per goal.

I expect we have all just switched channels now. A Danish goal would make things interesting.

Dutch defence this tourament has been shocking. Letting off-form players like Ronaldo and Gomez play themselves into form.
They may have some good forwards, but they have really fallen since their great teams of 1974, 1978, 1988, 1994 & 1998.

Really? That's ridiculous, I would have thought those channels were available even on Freeview HD

Freeview has less free HD channels than VM. Did piss me off when I found out, sky has deal with ITV until that deal is up ITV2HD,ITV3HD & ITV4HD will be exclusive to sky.

The Dutch national team used to be famous for aggressively compressing the amount of space opposition strikers had to play. And for their beautiful ball retention skills in midfield. Watching the matches against Germany and Portugal, their opponents seemed to be playing a much more of a Dutch game than the Dutch. A shame. As you say, all they have left that can hold a candle to the teams of the past are some decent forwards with great technique.
