He is in the window, the price is what someone is willing to pay, we won't hold him to ransom, but we will also get a fair price.

Difficult to say whether we'll get a fair price. We've recently let Trossard and Burn go for well under market value.

As you say, he's only worth what others are willing to pay. We need multiple bidders to push the price up.

*edit* Actually read your link, didn't realise they had an option to buy.

Sounds like decent business by us to have the transfer fee rise based on his success this season. I'm sure that no-one really expected him to be knocking on the door of the Germany squad now having scored 14 league goals and of course we'd love to have had that kind of form in the Premier League had he not gone on loan. What with him and Gyokeres we sure now how to pick them - shame we lost them both (or theoretically just one of them) but that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.

Spoke to a german guy on holiday who watches VFB week in week out and he said it took Denis a while to settle in but now he is the first name on the sheet.

they love him and they think it is a great addition to the national squad.

he also said that pascal was being lined up as a player they need next year. i Said he was pivotal to us at the moment and although we are happy to let anyone go at a price, I couldn’t see pascal going

he also really rates Dahoud too!

I'll be honest, the value I place on this guy's opinion rather plummeted as I read the last line.

To be fair, just because he didn’t do it here, doesn’t mean he isn’t very good. It’s another case of our arrogant fans here! Ridiculous comment

Or possibly just not meant to be taken entirely seriously.
That said, my interest in how well Dahoud can play in Germany is somewhere between nil and zero.
Potentially a £9m turnaround in less than a year. I’m very interested in him doing well in Germany because that is where I think he belongs and will thrive again.
