In my opinion they are a pussy version of The Whip.

Edit: the album is excellent though, I just prefer The Whip, who are criminally underrated.

This is my thoughts entirely the whip got f*** all coverage. In my opinion they were the best part of the utterly turd Fatboy slim gig on the beach.

I'm going. In two minds about them at the moment. The album has a few great moments on it....but it is a bit underwhelming. Great guitar sound though.

It was also recorded in Berlin....a bit more kudos :)

The phrase 'Emperor's clothes' springs to mind.

As Max says, very much a poor man's Whip.

It's a good point. My missus is a fan of The Whip. I have not warmed to them I'm afraid. I sw them at The Great Escape a few years back and, live, I found them a bit too geezer-y for my liking. Kind of like an electro-Kasabian.

electro-Kasabian.

On reflection this is pretty harsh. An electro-Kasabian sounds hideous. They were not that bad...just a bit too ladish for my liking.

The Whip played the most energitic set that i saw at any festival in 2008, apart from the Chemical brothers. Tore the pace apart they did.
