James, can’t be trusted to cut cheese…….even Tom Watson managed that.

https://pressgazette.co.uk/tom-wato...e-probe-and-accepts-mistakes-over-carl-beech/

The irony of Tom searching out child abusers whilst rubbing shoulders with Harman, Dromny and Hewitt is laughable. I will look forward to seeing how his anti gambling crusade cuts through……

Almost as ironic as someone boasting on a message board that they scrounge off other BBC Licence payers and then posting the above on a 'defund the BBC' thread

Please will you make your points clear and unequivocal; then it's possible to debate them.

At the moment they are cryptic if not totally opaque.....

Bless.

You can always trust the wheels of justice on this issue albeit the evidence is that the BBC are finally not actively criminalising non payers.

They have already confirmed they are not pursuing over 75s that don’t pay and they are taking a light touch on the poor and vulnerable due to COVID……..rightly so.

The good news is we are essentially moving to a licence fee model where you can pay the licence fee if you want. If you support choice, then like me you would be happy about this state of affairs.

Not quite sure the point you're trying to make here with your 15 month old article? that JOB doctored a daily mail front page?

What you appear to be saying is you cant link the following items:

Carl Beech scandal
James O Brien
The truth

Interesting.

You need to either do your research or reach back into your memory and work out what connects:

Patricia Hewitt
Harriett Harman
Jack Dromney
Tom Watson’s crusade against a sinister peadophile ring in top rank political circles.

Then you can truly debate them.

I know about those serious errors of judgement.

What point are you making?

I'm sure you will be happy if your predicted state of affairs comes about and you have a choice of whether to pay or not. I'm equally sure that you and your associate Ppf will be quite happy to continue to scrounge off others by consuming the content and avoiding paying for it in the meanwhile.

Personally I'm happy to pay my own way in life and not rely on others

But it is blindingly obvious that you and Ppf have different views on scrounging off others to me and we won't agree, so :bigwave:

Just when you thought it couldn’t worse.

I’ve done with paying the licence fee, GB news doesn’t engage weirdo’s and misfits.

David Gilmour's armpit
Is all this dross still going on? (Presumably perpetuated by the usual suspect [singular] )
It's quite funny, now, tbh, that anyone is still bothering - it ain't gong to happen. :)

Watched Vienna Blood on the Beeb on Friday evening. Brilliant.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000bhqj

Agreed, it is brilliant. Just caught up with the first series.

Very similar to Sherlock with a mix of science and detective work, but better IMO with more likeable characters.

The final episode about the mysterious death at the military academy with all its rituals and code of honour was a knock out

We only ever saw episode 1, busy lives, but have the rest lined up on iplayer.

Looking forward to it.

West is BEST
Great start last night to the Beeb’s new drama, The Tourist. Jamie Dornan is a real talent and already I’m intrigued by the mix of Memento and Mad Max!! Gonna be a good un if early signs are anything to go by.
