With Whing cup-tied, El-Abd suspended and now injured and Guy Butters injured. Who does that leave us to play at right-back ? Tommy Elphick ?
Georges Santos ?
Chris Breach ?

I think that Tommy will get his first start for the Albion, and we're running out of defenders.

Elphick - A Hinshelwood - Lynch - Mayo

I'd go with that, the other option is

Lynch - Hinsh - Santos - Mayo

either would be enough for Stafford and it just depends how quickly Wilkins wants to bring through Elphick.

Is Elphick really a right back? No. He will play out of position and be crucified on here.

Is Chris Breach actually fit?!

Surely Paul Hinshlewood would be the obvious choice at right back?

Isn't Wilkins on record as saying he wants his players playing a variety of positions? He thinks it aids their development and makes them better footballers. He hasn't just said this once, but in 3 or 4 interviews over the last couple of months. If Elphick is going to be a capable centre-back, he really should not be getting crucified at right-back by mid-table Conference players.

It will surely be either him or Lynch playing out of position, or Santos as a long shot?
