Bristol Rovers lie Third tonight so a draw with 10 or 11 men is pretty respectable. Given the strange nature of many results today it'll be a while before we really know who is good and who is bad. Even Tranmere got a draw and it took Leeds right up until injury time to get a goal against MK Dongs who only had 10 men for more than half of the game.

Ssh Don't talk sense on here. Knee jerk reactions and finger pointing because we're in the bottom 4 is what we need right now

Good result, no doubt, but the equaliser was always coming. I was in with The Gas and they were right hacked off until they heard that the City had lost.

We seem to have a desperate lack of anyone who wants to put their foot on the ball and play. I can't remember one occasion when Kuipers did anything other than hoofing the ball forward.

A pleasing point, well done to Russell and the boys, plenty of encouraging signs for the rest of the season.

A very good result - especially with the lack of numerical parity in the second 45. I thought we defended really well throughout tbh, bar the odd mistake that was eventually (& somewhat inevitably) punished by a strong Gas forward line.

I also agree that we would be a far better side if we had the kind of player you mention: although perhaps they wouldn't have been particularly influential after Virgo's act of stupidity; & that most teams in the lower leagues would benefit from an intelligent playmaker. The trouble is, I can't see such an asset looking to ply their nouse outside The Championship - at the very least - but it would be great if we could land a real gem. Anybody got any potential candidates they know of?*

*keep it low-key mind, as we don't want everybody out there to know about him.
