just in case you hadn't noticed or didn't know....

1) Dickers best position is central midfield (not left to accommodate Navarro)
2) Navarro runs around a lot but rarely gets close enough to tackle or win the ball
3) We tend to win/let in less goals when Kuipers plays
4) Tunnicliffe and Elphick mark space (not players) when defending crosses
5) I'm getting fed up of seeing us lose

any idea why Brezovan ducked when Sheehan's free kick hit the bar? and how has Hoyte gone from being a promising Arsenal squad member to an unused Albion sub at Swindon?

that's all

Just be glad Hoyte isn't in our starting XI. His positioning is frightening at times.

Is this the first NSC thread indicating that Mr Poyet might in fact not actually have a f***ing clue what he's doing?

Brilliant!

When Hoyte started on loan for us, besides his attacking ability, his positional sense and defending was spot-on. What happened?

I'm glad someone else has spotted the Brezovan duck from the freekick, Kuipers would have been flying over there to try and save it, but Brez? Nope.

Poyet is a young manager learning his trade, and that scares me. We're not in a position for someone to practice with us, we need a good manager who can change the losing mentality of the squad. Poyet was a poor appointment.

Wahey!

NSC cliché 1) Putting down a goalkeeper simply because he isn't the beloved
Michel Kuipers

NSC cliché 2) Saying we should have appointed someone else, without saying who? Yes, Poyet was a risky appointment, but can you really say he was a poor appointment at this stage, with the run of games we've had?

I think it is, yeah.

Here we go

First in/out poll on here if we lose Boxing Day, betcha.

This isn't a Poyet out thread, I'm a fan of his and am still excited by his appointment. What worries me is the information he must have been given by the likes of Hinshelwood, Godden and possibly Oatway, Lloyd and some of the senior players. We'll find out how good Poyet is in the 2nd half of the season after he's bombed out the dead wood/free loaders he inherited from Knight, Adams and Slade.

I get the impression that he boosts the players in public/Argus, etc but privately is furious at the lack of basic discipline shown by a number of them.

Seen it on TV and that was the smallest duck Ive ever seen... more like a shrug.... Think he thought it was goign wide and was surprised that it came so close. As most Premiership goalkeepers end up standing still when you get an ace free kick like that coming so close over the wall, by your blinkered view Kuipers should be playing for Chelsea!!!!

Brezovan made some fantastic saves on saturday, im a kuipers fan but he couldnt have done any better with those, as for any criticism of poyet its laughable, hes trying and has succeeded largely to get us to play proper passing football in the last few games since hes been able to train with them for a whole week at a time, despite some fans inexplicably moaning at the team to pump it forward at the earliest opportunity, perhaps these fans hate watching arsenal at their best?? Its hardly poyets fault our strikers dont put their chances away. if they had we would have won both the last 2 games

And the good goalie apart, none of these players are his choosing so he cant be judged at least on their (lack of!) ability. We need a couple of central defenders in january ideally and another striker cos dickinson isnt good enough, not on what hes shown recently anyway and forsters not getting any younger. If poyet can get these players next month or in the summer then we should have a good chance next year.

Brezo did duck when that ball hit the bar and highly amusing it was to. In fairness though he didn't have a bad game but did punch a lot he could have caught.

How long before we get the regular, and incredibly tiresome "In or Out" polls after every single game?

In London village.
Brezovan is wank. Michel is a goalkeeping god.

I'm not going to slate or even say a bad word about Gus until I see what he does in January. But this decision along with seeing Adam f***ing El Abd as our best defender leave me wondering whether he is in fact a great big conman.

Have you actually seen Brezovan play? He makes the odd mistake as does St. FDM but overall seems a good pair of hands. He certainly made some good calls at Swindon and appeared very confident to me.
