This will divide the fans and is reminiscent of the (and I could be wrong here) sacking of Cattlin and the bringing in of Lloyd? For at least the first half of that season Cattlins name was probably chanted more than Lloyds, if memory serves.

I would imagine 90% of fans will be delighted to see Adams back, me included. I hope Wilkins stays on as coach as there is no doubting his talent in that area. But as for an inspirational motivator, look no further than Adams.

On the contrary, I think this will unite the fans. The fans have been divided since McGhee went. This will unite us once again - this can only be good for the club. :albion1:

You are missing the point. The decision to bring in Adams was made by THE BOARD, not Dick Knight on his own.

That aside though I think Wilkins as been hard done by, I cannot help but think that Micky Adams will be able to attract some top names to the club. How many players did we miss out on when he was here because we did not have a decent ground or the promise of one? That will no longer be an issue. Let the good times roll.
