I don't have a problem with him and Booker at the club, providing they are not manager/assistant manager, and provided that they don't stop a new manager bringing his own staff in.

I would as we really would be paying them to do nothing

new manager needs to bring his own, we need a fresh new management team

Totally agree time for a clean sweep and a good chance as well as a new keeper coach required as well.

He's a non-league coach at best who is holding us back. He's the reason for our tactical ineptitude, Micky relied on his coaches to help him drill tactics and a gameplan into the players, but Booker and White simply don't seem to have the abilities to effectively coach players. They're outdated and should leave so a new manager can have his own people around him.

That said, I'm sure both Booker and White are nice enough blokes, and though I don't wish anyone out of a job at the moment (especially considering I doubt they'd get another one within football), I think they're holding us back, and we need to change. It's what is best for the club, as far as I can see.

... of what?

Playing Virgo out of position?

Getting Birchall to miss an open goal?

Ensuring that the advertised pasties weren't available at the Millwall catering stall?

I concede that two of those factors made for a decent day out, but I expect PERFECTION from an Albion manager.

I take it your one of the players then?

The interesting bit in your post is 'Micky relied on his coaches to help him drill tactics and a gameplan into the players'. If that was the case I think Dean White is an awesome coach as he managed to get Mickys 'smash it up front and hope Zamora gets on the end of it' style of play into the players a treat. Just a shame Zamora wasn't there any more.

they are both muppets.
A new manager will want to bring in his own coaching staff and use their skills rather than the archaic tactics of the dynamic duo.

I am a fan who has an understanding of how the set up works, Micky was the manager, he was in charge of every aspect of the club, that's alot more work than most people can understand, it's not just out on the training pitch making players play well, there's so much more to it than that, and therefore he, and all managers, need a good #2 to assist in getting the players to understand the tactics and know what they're meant to be doing in the matches.

That said, I don't think there's an excuse for why we played the same clueless brand of football all season, there seemed less tactics and more the old school management style of telling the players to play a natural game and get the ball forward whenever they can. Which doesn't work anymore, which is perhaps why Micky is out of a job now.

The know it all experts on here never cease to amaze me. Adams was manager, his gameplan, his idea's, his tactics. None of you have the faintest idea of how competant the coaching staff are.

But theres the bit your missing! Dean White was telling the players what Adams wanted them to do in the matches. The tactics and what they were meant to be doing in the matches came from Adams idea's. Dean White just follows instructions through.

The players might of understood the tactics 100%. The problem was that the tactics were shit.

You call me a knowitall, and perhaps comparatively I am, but it's basic football really.

Just because you know what needs doing, doesn't mean you're any good at doing it, does it?

What I'm saying is that Dean White isn't good at his job.

i portrayed them earlier as Dumb and Dumber and as i pressed the post quick reply button i thought hang on a moment they are two human beings trying to do thier job,so i felt a little regret, then i thought again of white at half time at luton coming out 5 mins b4 the players and just staring at his clipboard on the halfway line,so the regret soon passed and its bye bye from me,and thankyou for your no doubt loyal service to Brighton and hove albion fc.
