The other half and myself went to watch Deal or No Deal (DOND) as audience members yesterday (Wednesday).

It was good laugh and I recommended it as a day out if you like the programme. Tickets are available for free from the DOND website, the studio is in Bristol, not too far from here. We watched 2 episodes being recorded, for broadcast in late September. Fortunately for us they both exciting episodes and we will be watching out for ourselves on TV after sitting in a very prominent position for one of the episodes. Also it was fascinating to have a 'behind the scenes look' at how a TV show is recorded.

Off to Wembley on Sunday to see the new stadium, going up with some Exeter fans.

I'm still on the waiting list for tickets for Have I Got News For You. They'll probably cancel the darn show before I get a ticket :(

Shiver me timbers! Why would you wanna be in the audience for that!?! I guess you do get to shout "Blue! Blue! Blue" along with everyone else in the audience, safe in the knowledge that your words WILL influence the colour of the number in the boxes. You can also hold hands and sway from side to side to show solidarity with the contestants. Fantastic!

They dont do that any more on the shows being recorded now, and the blue box gets opened earlier, at the first ad break. The set has been changed too.

I went to see Noel two weeks ago!! I echo what the man says - it's a good day out for free (providing you can get to Bristol of course), and seeing Noel in the flesh is BRILLIANT. In our games, the contestants won £50k and £75k, and are to be shown on the August Bank Holiday weekend. Noel:bowdown:

One of the contestants we saw won a six figure sum. Might apply to go on myself!

Also, at the beginning of shows being recorded now the contestants all do a weird dance, one side doing the can-can, the other side dancing in couples.

Right.......thats it ....... I wont bore you all anymore........no more DOND posts

It takes years of study, and a high IQ to pick a box. They also have to pick them slowly, so that the audience can hang on every syllable that Snot Smegdrip utters.

With Hattrick? If you are ever bored and they have tickets for any of their other productions on offer it's worth taking them and going to prove you are a sane, sensible, not going to storm the set type of person. They then bump you to the top of the list for the more 'in demand' shows that you have asked for. They have some Trevor McDonald news show thing on offer right now.

We have been to HIGNFY twice, though not very recently.
