Was absolutely brilliant, and was so sad to see him go home with a grand. I've been looking forward to Orry's game for ages. Have you seen his website? It's amazing!! He's met all sorts of famous people!

I doubt it'll be the last time we see him.

If he was so keen,on box 7 why not that it at the start ? Also he said he was going to go all the way ? So he should have taken 7 at the start. :bigwave:

statistically, you should swap boxes...but I don't understand why, it should be 50/50 but its definitely better to swap

It's "that you chose box 18 COMPLETELY AT RANDOM"

Don't test me on Deal or No Deal, because after 9 weeks of injury, I class myself as a bit of an expert!!!

I don't think he was, I think he was just taking the moment, he was offered 25 grand when there was a 50/ 50 chance of getting 100,000. I would have gone for it!

wasn't he offered like 41 grand with 4 boxes left or something? 2 of which being 75 and 100 grand. if he took 1 of them out he wou'dnt get that kind of offer again.

greedy twat LOL

But at that point he had a 50/50 chance of getting the big money - I wouldve gone for it!

So would I, the best odds you will ever get for a gamble.

I have been to a couple of recordings. Before filming starts all the red boxes are brought out, already sealed, and lined in the middle of the studio in front of everybody, audience and all. Each contestant then pulls a numbered ball from a cloth sack, a bit like the FAC draw, after they have all a ball they go and pick up their box and put in front of them ready for the show to start.

So contestants cannot choose their box number, and it genuinely is random which box they get.

In my opinion he should have taken the 41k, but i suppose thats easy to say when:

1) Your not playing the game and you stand to lose nothing

2) Hindsite is a great thing

He took it like a man though

It's a game of no skill, decisions that are random and rely on nothing but a chance on luck.
Snakes and ladders is more enthralling, and would challenge the audience as much.
Isn't this game-show illustrating how far the viewing public have been dumbed down?

Or am I thinking too much about what game-shows are about?
