Tempted to just delete this thread if it wasn’t for newbies finding it and reading the OP.

I thought he was a stroppy and disrespectful git from the January window on. He reined it in about a month from the end of the season and performances improved due to him not continuing to play suicide football after a couple of stuffings and it becoming clear that no BIG club was coming for him. I was very pleased when TB announced he was leaving by mutual consent. He gave us the best of times but his ego led him to turn into a dick when he couldn’t impose his will on TB. I think this dawned on him too late.

He does himself no favours with that interview to the French press either.
Not that bad IMO
Nothing that we weren’t aware of…..
Passionate Italian, got hammered in his own country….
Reacted badly.
Not the greatest tactically once rumbled…..

But still one of my favourite ever managers.

I still love it when he threw the ball away from the Liverpool player and shrugged his shoulders….

Hmm, another knock at TB. I am not a fan of that!

He knew what he signed up to and it was not to an option to try and bully TB by media whinging.

Yeah, never mind all that.

Was he sacked? Or not?

It’s the same one as far I’m concerned….
He wanted something that wasn’t going to happen.

I get the feeling Swansman/Han Solo wants to take Graham Potter to see his brother in Leeds. Have that pint.

“I’m just a fan, Graham… your biggest fan”
It took 14 hours. I fainted 3 times.

Could make a film about that.
Fotball tactical genius has just completed his book on emotional intellience but crashes his car in the snowy roads of Sweden.
Luckily his No.1 fan is on hand to rescue him.

Poyet syndrome for me. RDZ and Poyet both had us playing the best football in our history but both blew it by letting their own ego take over and that tarnishes their reputation for me.

I just hope for RDZ his future turns out better than Poyet but at the end of the day the moral of the story is 'Don't think you can win against the lizard' 🦎

It’s really a shame that Poyet is such a non-person these days, his many achievements should be celebrated. It’s fairly normal stuff for a manager and owner to have argy-bargy, honestly you read about it on here and you think Poyet murdered someone

Graham Potter will always be remembered by a particular sort of very precious Albion fans as a Judas, that is correct and goes for most individuals who were good enough to get picked up by better clubs.
Which is odd as potter and his continued 200k a week has done more to f*** chelski than any other single person in the last couple of years 😂😂😂

So true.

Same for Potter, RdZ (for some), and even Hughton (who apparently made the mistake of keeping us up by playing defensively) 😐.

Everyone moves on, we should just celebrate the success they had whilst with us….

Maybe not. But full respect to both for fighting tooth and nail for the resources needed to improve the football model. Rather have a passionate guy in charge that reflects the passion of the fanbase any day than a vanilla Yes Man that does his Master's bidding without ever daring to rock the boat
