That's the spiritBye bye Ensico and Van Hecke then - ffs
For a LOT of money that Chelsea no longer have. Hello, Chilwell.Bye bye Ensico and Van Hecke then - ffs
If he goes straight to Chelsea, all tge stuff about agreeing with Tony about transfer policy wae bullshit and he just left for the money.
He did it with more class, but ultimately I'll remember him as having left in a haze of bullshit
What makes me laugh is the stick Hughton gets on here from some. The only genuine manager we’ve had since the Amex. Yes he had no choice to play defensive but what a gentleman. If this is the case, I think Potter actually did it with more class because he was at least up front about it. This - if it happens - is just plain sneaky, and we gave him a hero's goodbye and begged him to stay (no wonder Bloom & Barber were looking on unimpressed). Makes me feel sick actually!!

If he goes to Chelsea he inherits a squad that doesn't need much doing to it to compete at the top.If he goes straight to Chelsea, all tge stuff about agreeing with Tony about transfer policy wae bullshit and he just left for the money.

Don’t think it’s that outlandish a suggestion. I have done fairly similar in my career before.Bit of a mad conspiratorial stretch that. Chelsea are interested in him because he’s a superb manager not because they’ve been fiendishly planning this for 6 months like some comic book super villain
Give it two months “Todd Boehly knows very well my idea”If they binned off Poch for being too mouthy/difficult, wait until they get a load of RDZ
The first two of those were good achievements. The last was understandable. It took Poch a year to make it better. I think Chelsea on a manager's CV can be ignored at the moment.Potter is not coming back
Got Swansea to mid table
Got Brighton to mid table(eventually)
Left Chelsea in a mess
And that’s your idea of a great manager?
I'd be more worried about Mitoma.
Without Mitoma, RDZ would have not have achieved anywhere near what he did here.
Yes. Allegedly Poch was asking for the same thing as RDZ - players in the 25/30 year old bracket,Isn't Chelsea's policy to only buy players aged 23 and under?
A very brave post - but I'm sure you're well aware you'll get a right slating on here! In many ways I agree with you, but not so sure that Potter will be returning. Not a chance.
He's not that good of a manager. It's become apparent that GP was the superior manager all along.
The Premier League couldn't handle RDZ when he first joined us, picking up GPs momentum with his ambitious football and firing us in to Europe.
In the 2nd season teams just learnt from experience how to defend against us. He essentially got found out and didn't have a plan B.
The same will happen at Chelsea. He will be sacked before Christmas, I absolutely guarantee it.
GP however will join us and have a willingness to learn and adapt. Something that the rigid, stubborn RDZ never had, and was his downfall here and will be his downfall at Chelsea.
Take the best attacking players out of most sides and the win rate will slow. Unfortunately for us March & Mitoma both got injured. Not really a stick to beat him with.I'd be more worried about Mitoma.
