What type of player is he?

I keep seeing people putting him in differing positions in potential line up threads. Those that have seen him play, what are his attributes?

'right-sided midfielder' according to the OS article when he signed.

I had no idea about Bruno.

Unfortunately for him, Lopez has so much to live up too.

He's an out and out winger. I watch a lot of Spanish football and always found him to be a technically very proficient player, good touch, excellent on set-pieces. From what I remember he is also quite a hard-working player who will get back and cover. He and Bruno should make an outstanding team together, taking it in turns to bomb on - one goes, the other drops in behind as cover.

Though Vicente was almost exclusively left sided before he came here was he not?

From what I've seen of Lopez (admittedly a very few matches here and there) he could play anywhere across the midfield.

Central attacking midfielder or right winger.

Probably where-ever he f***ing wants. Seriously I think this guy will be a class act. You don't play 118 games for a decent La Liga side without having great ability.

Now that would be interesting to return vicente to the left wing a position where hes played the most and would stop us slowing everything by trying to play every movement through him, Bridcutt and Croft/Hammond more central with Lopez on the right, Dobbie in the hole... only leaves Buckley,Lua-Lua et all to fit in!
