Wonderful performance by David at right back.

But with Bruno expected back on Saturday where will he play.

Buckley has looked of colour again.

May be bring David in on the right of midfield, using Lua Lua as our sole winger on the left?

I'd play David at full back on saturday. Was Buckley playing last night I didn't notice?

Maybe yesterdays showing will encourage Gus to flirt with more attacking line ups... we can but dream

Thought he had moments of shakiness... but I also think we saw how we might have a great player if he stays in the team and regains more sharpness and confidence

If he was, I didn't notice either. He has really gone off the boil of late.

Spanish Dave's touch and ability to play a first time pass accurately in a tight area exemplifies the type of player we need for us to improve as a side playing the way we do. I thought he looked lost most of the first half, but as an attacking full back second half put in a great performance.

It is subtle and for some he probably isn't setting the world alight yet, but his touch and neat knitting of play is real quality.

Thats because he was playing up front, a total waste of time there, hopefully people will now give up on that idea

I thought he was a winger?

His delivery of the ball was certainly better than on Saturday

He was awful until he was moved first into the centre of midfield, and then right back. Just doesn't fit into our style as a wide midfielder as it gives us no pace. Buckley didn't have his best game, but still offered more threat than David out there. Personally, I would play Lua Lua & Buckley on the wings, and David in the centre with Bridcutt and Hammond or Crofts.

He must not be regularly played at rightback. He was class last night and it was great to allow him to push forward and have the space given to someone the opposition can't help but naturally class as a defender even though he isn't. But if Millwall had a winger of any note he would have been taken constantly. That is not his fault at all and i know he'd give his all, but if we were looking to keep a score down against us then he is not the main for that job. I loved him for doing what he did yesterday and i like him as a player, but i hope he'll start to use his skill and touch further forward with potent intent from now on with the confidence that performance should give him. And i pray that the other players look to develop a touch as adept and controlled as his.

Just about this. Likewise, I thought Hammond did sod all until Crofts went off, when suddenly he became a lot more prominent. Having Crofts & Hammond in the same team seems to stifle too many players.
