Bizarrely, boxing is now being shown on Dave. Better than having to PPV at £15 a pop!

This guy is a joker but still good to see a Haye win, onwards and upwards to some serious fights which he must now be looking at

Pathetic, can't even call it a fight. If Haye wants to compete for titles he needs to start lining up some better boxers than that. It was a joke, no wonder he puts his fights on Dave as he knows he would be getting serious shit from his fans if they had paid to watch that nonsense

Loving this hype for his next fight though, as long as he keeps increasing the quality of the fighters he is on the right track, Briggs is a good way forward

This opponent was a bum.

Couldn't wait to hit the canvas and get out of there with his pay day

You can only beat what they put in front of you but any serious boxing fan knows that guy was only looking for the canvas. Knocked over by a jab for gods sake. Feel sorry for the people who payed money for that but in fairness Haye looks bigger and stronger than a couple of years back.. Joshua v Haye would be worth a few quid I reckon and a decent fight.

Never seen a boxer put down by a left jab before but as Haye said they picked the chap with the 2nd longest unbeaten run but obviously he had never fought anybody of Hayes class. Be interesting to see if he does knock Shannon Briggs out who although 44 years old seems a tough old boy.

The whole programme was a farce. Boxers only having to blow on their opponents and they go down. No wonder the crowd started booing in the Haye fight. The guy was obviously in there to take a dive but was too stupid to know when to go down and make it look realistic.
Haye has been lucky to face a whole succession of moderate boxers in his career and is massively overrated. If he could fight as well as he talks he would be an all-time world beater.

This is where a good promoter comes in, given the right fights you could have an unbeaten record. Don King did the same thing for Mike Tyson's first fight out of prison against Peter McNeeley who had a 37 win record out of 38. Check his record and see how many opponents you've heard of.

That's why he took so long to get to the ring as he knew the fight wouldn't last. It was noticeable how he backed off after the first knockdown in an attempt to make it look more like a proper contest
