Was the plan for the past year wasn't it ?
Dave's a great bloke and I hope he moves on to something else as rewarding as his current post.

Jeez that is not good news, I think he's been an excellent CEO.

The beer options are hardly Dave's choice. The catering is franchised out so whoever buys the franchise can sell whatever beer they like. Even Oranjeboom !
Chris Adams left a sour taste in many people's mouths when he left for Slurry. Can't see him coming back.
Trevor Mould anyone ? Unfortunate name but good guy who'll be recommended by Brooksy no doubt. Also used to work for one of the club's major sponsors so is well connected throughout the club. He'd be my favourite if it's an in-house promotion.

So who chose Greene King to be the supplier then?
Martin Perry was able to provide drinkable bitter at the Amex - an option at the cricket that's only available in the pavilion for 4 dayers now.

Whoever has the food and catering franchise chose what to sell.
I used to work for Binghams when they had the franchise years ago, but not sure who has it nowadays.

Well the millions from the S. C. Trust fund have been spent- is there anything left to spend?

I believe that without the SC money, we are short a few hundred thousand pounds in interest per year. Daves remit was to find revenue streams to make us this windfall and thats why he was such a good candidate, this is why Chris would find it more difficult to do this role.

SC money was for capital and long term benefit of the club. None left- no contingency. Good job then?

Brooks replacement to be announced tomorrow

Brooks has just written to all members enclosing the 2013 fixtures. These are also, supposedly, reproduced in the covering letter, except that last season's are printed in the letter - I thought for a moment that the "Champs Elect" had weasled their way out of being relegated.
