Covert surveillance has shown that HT's on his way to the game with tickets in hand...

I genuinely hope the Krauts lose, which they won’t of course?

Out of interest who do you support if it’s England v Germany qf

I don’t follow any national team to be honest.

But who would you like to win, if the teams showed relatively equal endeavour, skill and sporting spirit?

I’m genuinely not bothered. If Germany did play England it would be a fascinating game given their current forms etc but I am not bothered about who will win. Just to qualify this I follow Brighton but rarely, if ever, watch any other football live and certainly don’t watch any football on tv aside from international tournaments. I watched this year’s CL Final which is the first for as long as I can remember.

I know that Germany traditionally start off slow and get better as tournaments progress. But dearie me, this lot look a mess. Where's the calm collected defence? Where's the attacking threat? And a midfield full of under-performers.

Reckon Belgium are the new Germany and will go very far in this competition. Starting tomorrow.

The world champions are in full control at half time, time for another beer.
