Wondered what he had been doing lately - seems he is getting a pretty good covers band together in his shed

Looks like the missus has sent him to the basement.

He's obviously not getting his Oates

That show is good when the guests are good but most of the time they're just some young kids who clearly have no idea who Daryl Hall is, so it's a bit dull. The one with the guitarist from ZZ Top was about as good as it gets.

Actually take it back - that's excellent. Just cos it's one of the greatest slabs of funk ever, basically. You could get a bunch of people to fart it out and it would still sound great.

Hall and Oates were a great band.

Good thread, I'd forgotten how much I like this duo with the big hair

How many remember this from a hot Saturday back in 85??

But what is Pete Waterman doing on the sax?
