I know there's a few Darts players / fans on here so just thought i'd see if anyone knew / or was playing in this competition. It's Sunday night at Rileys 6PM start - and the winner & runner up get to play Phil Taylor when he opens the 'Dart Zone' on Mon the 25th. Plus prize money of course. Only £5 to enter - Anyone going?

I was in there the other day and the girl was telling me about that competition so after shooting some pool and some (poor) snooker, we had a go on a dart board to see if it would be worth entering.

It isn't. :lolol:

NE - You never know with darts mate - but there will be some excellentplayers there but it's all good fun - if i get through 1 round im usually pleased!

PS - Wouldn't normally start a thread on a darts comp but am trying to put some other thread in between the Villa ones!

I hit a 20 dart game last night playing 501 against a mate. My best ever, is it worth entering at that standard?

Yo man - that's pretty good - a 25 average - but u gotta remember, darts is all about consistency - i've hit a 13 dart leg once before but i've also hit a 50 dart leg :)

I know there are some good players going but you never know - plus the chance to play a legend such as Mr Taylor doesn't come around often!

Kev / Mendoza - get yourselves along and enter - i've always been taught that playing competitions with money on them is the est way to improve your game - and a fiver isn't going to break the bank. I know a couple of blokes are going who play in the PDC - you may even know one of them - so playing a competiive game against one of them is good for anyones game..

PS Brett - I met Mr Taylor at a PDC Foor Comp in Essex last yr - he' atop bloke - i may even post the picture on this thread as long as no-one thinks i'm a knob head for doing so -love my darts tho -my 2nd fav sport to play / watch i think...
