I saw something like that yesterday. Did you get the link from the Ipswich fans board ? They were claiming on there that he allegedly threw his toys out the pram (big time) yesterday when substituted.

 Great find

I really loved Darren Currie for the few months he was here - it was so easy to take to him.

Nice bloke, QUALITY footballer. Plays the game in exactly the way i've always tried to (and can't run either!).

Not quite a legend, as he was only here a few months, but he's right up there.

Oh, and he didn't half take to the fans - I think it was the Palookaville match where he started dancing to those singing 'Vindaloo' in H block.

Darren Currie was absolutely superb, when we had him for that short period of time. Looking back at it now it was good bit of business done by DK and Mark Mcghee to off load him to Ipswich.

I still miss him though.

Another totally crap McGhee signing, as were Henderson & Carole. Virgo might still have been on loan to Exeter if it hadn't been for the Lardy Jocko Clown.

Was one of the most skillfull players I have seen to grace the Blue & White shirt. It was a shame he was with us such a short time or he would have become a legend.

I would LOVE to see him back in the stripes, probably second behind Zamora in the "I wish they would come back :(" stakes.

I think the 2-3 defeat to QPR a couple of years backs sums it up. We were completely over-run in midfield, but Currie scored a wonder free kick, but we still lost. Shittu was a bit slow as well, but he edged out Currie on positional sense.
cf. Beckham for England.

PS: If we stay up, we will be playing Ipswich next season. If you sell your whole squad and get a few artisans in midfield, how can Ipswich expect to stay in the Championship? Joe Royle got the sack ? but arguably he did a good good job keeping a reserve side in the Championship at all.

Is the jury out on Joe Royle? He may be better than most?

Of course, if there is even worst teams!
