What about Harveys?

well surely an ale that EVERYONE thinks is the best drink in the WORLD must have come somewhere?

or could it be that it is infact VASTLY overrated. is that a banning offence?

Well if it is you'll have to ban me as well as I concur.

Can't understand some of the folk on here who actively seek it out when you can get it in pretty much every town in Sussex and Kent. Suppose it's a bit like those who go abroad and only eat English cuisine.

And to answer your original question none of the Harveys beers achieved any form of recognition this year (Gold, Silver or Bronze) from the judges. I'm sure if you go on the CAMRA site they'll have the full results if you are that way inclined. I seem to recall Harveys had two beers in the SE section but didn't spend a great deal of time there for the reason I've made clear above.

You`ll have to wait until march because it is a seasonal but their Saison is great.
Actually all their beers are top notch. I really do think they are the best brewery around.

I pretty much agree with Arthur on Harveys though. Nothing wrong with it but I would never go looking for it.

and for the lager drinkers, their Natural Blonde is far superior to the mass produced chemical crap available in most pubs.

We are lucky enough to have several good breweries in Sussex. Amazing how people even do the "My favourite is better than yours" stuff on a beer thread though. I thought that was reserved for the player rankings on match days.
